Lazy man's cheesecake

Advertisement:
I am horrible at following instructions, so these are just my guestimates 1box of Original New York Style Cheesecake in the blue & white box 1 pint of fresh blue berries 1 bag of frozen mixed berries 3/4 cup or more of your favorite jelly ( I used both raspberry and blackberry jelly) 1/4 or so of orange juice A pinch of cornstarch Instructions Keep the cheesecake to thaw out while you are making You dont need to thaw out the frozen berries Make sure you wash and dry the blueberries turn your stovetop on to low to medium low heat Add the orange juice and the jelly any mix together After a few minutes (2-3 minutes depending on your stove) the mixture should disolve and become syrupy ** If the mixture is to thin, add some more jelly, if it is to thick just add a little more oj Add the cornstarch to the jelly mixture, this will begin to get a little thicker Once this happens (It should take about a minute) Take out 1/4 cup of this syrup and set to the side Stir in the frozen berries to the pot that has the remaining 3/4 of the mixture, let cook for 3-5 minutes. Since I did not have one, I just used a pretty plate I bought from Target to put the cheesecake on. Spoon the mixed berry mixture onto the top of the cheesecake. It's ok if a little bit of the syrup runs along the sides, it makes it look home made :) After you spoon the mixture, layer the blueberries on the top of the cake and add the remaining syrup to glaze over the blueberries! Enjoy
