Salsa Molcajete

Salsa Molcajete

5 tomatoes
1/2 large white onion
2 serrano chillie peppers
Pinch of salt

Grill the tomatoes and chillies whole, preferably oer coals or gas grill, until they are soft and slightly wrinkled. Gently peel them, and crush into the molcajete. First the chilles, then the tomatoes. Add cubed onion (raw) and crush into the mixture, with a pinch of salt to taste. For a thinner consistenc. add approx. 1/2 cup of water.

1/2 water I would add V8 or sauce or paste for more flavor personally.
