Chocolate Layered Dessert

Ingredients:

First Layer:

2 sticks butter, melted
2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup crushed nuts (your choice of
either pecans, walnuts or almonds)
Extra nuts for garnish

Mix these ingredients together and press into a 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Second Layer:
16-ounce cream cheese
8-ounce Cool Whip or other
non-dairy whipped topping
Advertisement:

2 cups powdered sugar

Mix these these ingredients together and spread over cooled crust.

Third Layer:
2 small boxes instant chocolate pudding
3 cups milk

Mix the chocolate pudding mixes with the milk. Beat with an electric mixer until the pudding is thick. Spread pudding on top of the second layer.

Fourth Layer:
Spread cool whip over the pudding and garnish with chopped nuts. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
