Ingredients:
5 cups oats, divided
2 cups (4 sticks) butter
2 cups sugar
2 cups packed brown sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 (12-ounce) packages semi-sweet
chocolate chips or white chocolate chips
1 (8-ounce) chocolate candy bar, grated
3 cups chopped pecans
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. With blender or food processor, process 2-1/2 cups oats to fine powder. Pour into bowl and repeat remaining oats. Set aside.
3. In large mixing bowl, cream butter and both sugars. Stir in eggs and vanilla and beat well.
4. In seperate bowl, combine flour, blended oats, baking powder and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture and mix well.
5. Stir in chocolate chips, grated candy bar and pecans.
6. Roll dough in balls and place 2-inches apart on baking sheets.
7. Bake 6-8 minutes.
