The French Toast Breakfast

Easy to make french toast breakfast for the beginner, like me!

Cookware:

1 hand blender (or fork and a mixing bowl, blender is easier and can be bought for under $30)
1 mixing bowl
1 non stick wok (easy for flipping hash browns)
1 medium to large non stick pan
1 cookie sheet
1 pair of tongs
a toaster

Ingredients:

5 eggs
2 cups of hash browns (personally I eyeball it)

4 pieces of bread

Directions:
1: preheat oven to about 300c. Take the cookie sheet and lay the bacon down side by side. Put that in the oven. Wait for about 10 minutes, checking every couple and flipping the bacon as you go.

2: Take the mixing bowl and crack 5 eggs. Mix with the blender or fork for a few minutes.

3: Take the wok and add the hash browns. Put on low heat. This way, if you forget about the hash browns, like I do, they won't burn so easily. Keep flipping the hash browns until they look golden brown and somewhat sound hard when you flip them. Yes, that sounds odd, but when you listen to them, you'll know what I am talking about.

4: Once the hash browns are almost done, take the bread and soak them in the eggs. Don't forget to oil the pan with butter or margarine like I do!

Keep checking the bacon. About now, the bacon should be cooked. It should look like there is no fat left. That is the best way I can describe it. Take them out and put on a plate covered with paper towel to soak the grease. The bacon is done!

5: Check the french toast. When it's golden brown, take out of the pan and put it into the toaster for a minute for it to cook through inside. When it has popped, take out and serve.

Now you should have a awesome breakfast just like my husband enjoys every weekend morning. This is definitely no 5 star meal but it taste awesome.
