"Sudzuk"

Sudzuk (it pronounce like su-j-uk (su like sushi,j like in Jack, and uk like in Ukraine)) is really simply to made, yet very tasty. You will need:
1 l of cold water
300 gr all-purpose flour
150 gr granulated sugar
150 gr wallnuts (roast them a little in frying pan or baking plate, and then crushed them in mortar...that's a right way for this)
Preparation:
Mix flour in water, stiring well (there must be no lumps!).Put it on stove and add sugar.Stir all the time and be very carefull not to burn it down...when is thick like really thick pudding or dough and it's hard to stir, remove it from stove and add wallnuts, prepared as explained.Mix well and put it in the greased baking pan or square mold.It should be thin, but not too thin.Put on cold place (not in the fridge) and when is cool enough, cut in square pieces. Some people like to roll it in powder sugar, but for me,that way it lose its original taste. Also, instead of wallnuts, you may add nuts,almonds,peanut,pistacios...anything you like,of this sort.I personally, still prefer wallnuts, cause that is original recipe and it make me feel soo "Thousand and One Nights"...very Oriental.
