You will need:
1 tbs of butter+more butter for bread crumbs
4 eggs
500gr soft cheese
4 tbs of semolina (grits)
2 tbs of flour
salt
bread crumbs
sour cream (if wished)
Start with stiring 1 tbs of butter until become good, light cream.Then add egg yolks and cheese.Continue stiring and add grits,flour and salt.When it is good mixed,add firm snow of eggwhites.Make little,similiar sized and round dumplings,with a teaspoon wet in water,and roll every one in little flour.Put water in deep pot,on stove and when it start to boil,put in dumplings.Cook them until they come out to surface.Take them from water with skimmer and drain them good.Then put dumplings in round,deep bowl and add crumbs (prepare them like this:heat the butter in pan and add bread crumbs...griddle them until they are golden brown).You may want to roll dumplings in crumbs...if you like more this way,you roll them and then put them in bowl.Anyway,you may want to add some sour cream,but do this minute before serving (if you put cream when they hot,it will melt).Put them in hot place until served (all do they are good cold, as well).And what to say more...I promice you wil fall in love after first time making them.
