Frozen Delights

I was looking at the other cooking blogs on this site, and it seems to me, that people just post recipes. If i were looking for recipes I go to epicurious, foodtv or I look in my own Joy of Cooking. Even when I look at recipes on the internet, I always look at people's comments! thats the best part and what keeps me from buying cookbooks. So when people set up a blog to just post a recipe, well frankly to me it just seems dumb. ok end rant. although right now I'm reading a cooking blog called the amaeture gourmet and so far I like his blog style.

anyways, as for cooking blog philosophy my point was, I want this blog to be about much more than just the food i make, I want it to be about food management. I want it to be about the choices that we face nearly 3 times a day or more. So hopefully I can do that. so with that in mind I will talk about my lunch today.

A while ago Nadya and I had made a stir fry with mushrooms, red bell pepper scallions pork and rice oh and carrots. We couldnt eat it all so we froze the rest. When I was running late for study session and couldnt figure out whta to eat, I realized I had it in the freezer. Once at school after a quick defrosting I ate, and everyone was trying to peek over at what smelt so good!! so the moral of the story is, freeze leftovers!! and you create an instant quick meal for the next time!
