Chicken Marsala 3-15-12

This dish is wonderful and easy! Crock pot is the way to go during the week when you're busy with work, school, kids, etc. I love walking in the door and catching a big whiff of delicious food! And I always think to myself "do you smell what the crock is cookin'?!" Hahaha...

Ingredients: 4 chicken breasts; 1 stick butter; 8 oz cream cheese; 2/3 c. Marsala wine; 2 cans mushroom soup; 3/4 c. water; 1/4 t. oregano; 1/4 t. basil; 1/2 t. garlic salt; salt & pepper (to taste)

Directions: Cube chicken breasts (I soaked my chicken in milk overnight). Place chicken, butter, and spices in the slow cooker. Mix cream cheese, wine, water, and mushroom soup. Pour over chicken. Cover; cook 4-5 hours on High, or 8-10 hours on Low.

Quick. Easy. Good.
