Candy Crunch Pudding Pie 2-28-12

Candy Crunch Pudding Pie 2-28-12

Since I had to reschedule my Grandmother's "bday dinner" I needed to make her another pie to go along w/ her bday meal. I decided to do my cooking the night before because I knew that by the time everything was finished cooking it would be late (and it was). I had some left over batter b/c not all of it fit in the pie crust and my Mom said "what are you going to do with that batter?" I said, "throw it away" and she said "What?! Give it to me, I'll lick the bowl." LOL.

Ingredients: 2 pkgs (3.9 oz ea) Jell-O instant chocolate pudding; 2 c. cold milk (I used almond milk, and because my Mom got into my milk the day before I had to use about 1/2 a c. of hazelnut coffee creamer!); 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed, divided; 2 milk chocolate English toffee candy bars (1.4 oz ea)--I used toffee bits--chopped, divided; 1 Oreo pie crust (HEB didn't have one so I bought graham cracker crust and crushed Oreo's and sprinkled them in the bottom of the pie crust); 1 square Baker's semi-sweet chocolate, melted

Directions: Beat pudding mixes and milk with whisk 2 mins. Stir in 1/2 the Cool Whip and all but 3T. toffee candy. Pour into crust. Top w/ remaining Cool Whip and candy. Drizzle with Chocolate.

**Recipe from Cool Whip!
