Trio Pasta 2-26-12
This is a REALLY good pasta recipe! And it has a combination that I never would have thought of adding. Kevin picked this for our Sunday dinner recipe and we both really enjoyed it. I couldn't find Trio pasta noodles at HEB, so I told Kevin to pick the noodles he wanted & he got the garden style pasta...so maybe the title should have been Garden Pasta in this case lol. When I sent recipe request cards out to friends/family this is one of the recipes I got back from a good friend. I definitely recommend trying this--and it's EASY too!!
Ingredients: 1 (16oz) pkg trio pasta noodles (or in my case garden pasta
; 1 lb.
ground beef (I used ground turkey); 1 pkg pepperonis (yes, pepperonis! And
they're sooooo good
; 1 bag
shredded mozzarella cheese; approx 3/4 of a large container of Ragu (I used
tomato and garlic onion)
Directions: Boil Noodles; Brown ground beef (or turkey) and drain fat (the good thing about turkey is there is rarely any fat to drain
; Combine
all ingredients and bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 mins in covered dish.
Scrumptious!!!!
