Lemon Fruit Salad
1 large pkg. lemon jello Pinch of salt
1/2 to 3/4 C. sugar
2 C. boiling water
1-12 oz. can frozen lemonade
1-8 oz. tub Cool Whip Canned fruit, drained, if desired
Dissolve jello, salt and sugar in boiling water. Add lemonade. Let set. Put in blender and whip. Fold in Cool Whip. Place in 9x13" pan. Add fruit, If desired. Set. (If you don't add fruit in the salad, you can garnish with fresh fruit after jello has set.)
NOTE: I used mandarin oranges in the jello and served it in a large bowl, topped with curled, thin sliced fresh lemons, plus more mandarin oranges on the top.
