We'll see how this goes... I intend to use this blog to list everyday meals we
have, what twists I put into them (since I never make things the same way twice
except for our VERY favorite foods) and how well we liked them.
I didn't cook tonight, my husband Joe is sick so I hadn't planned on anything but soup. Since he's feeling a bit better now, we ended up getting some Pizza Hut. However, I'll list some basic meals that we consider favorites here.

Best Buffalo
Wings
This is Joe's favorite food of all time. I can't eat it -- too spicy. When we have wings, I usually whip up some Teriyaki sauce or some other type of sauce and make my portion of the wings with that.
3lbs frozen wing pieces
1/2 stick butter
1 bottle Frank's hot sauce
Ranch dressing
Spread the frozen wings in a baking dish in a single layer, then toss into an oven at 350 degrees (preheating isn't necessary) and bake till done, about 45 minutes.
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat until beginning to brown.
Remove from heat and whisk in hot sauce, whisking till thoroughly combined.
Remove wings from oven and drown in hot sauce.
Serve with plenty of Ranch dressing for dipping.
Easy Never Fail Meatloaf
Everyone this has been served to raves. And it's so EASY! I always make two loaves, but freeze one for another night. This is a frequent request! Even better served with mashed potatos and gravy!
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 box Stovetop stuffing, any flavor
1/4 cup Country Bob's sauce (or BBQ, or Ketchup)
1/2 cup Ketchup (or BBQ)
Splash of hot water
Mix together the beef, stuffing, and country bob's with a splash of hot water to help the stuffing combine. Form into two loaves. Freeze, if desired -- thaw before baking.
Top each loaf with 1/4 cup ketchup or BBQ sauce. Bake at 350 for about 40 minutes. If baking both loaves together, it may take longer. YUMMY!
