Steak & Taters

Advertisement:
I decided to start my blog off with a classic meat and potatoes dinner. I got 2 T-bone steaks, red potatoes, and brussel sprouts. yummmm. Allan doesn't like potatoes unless they're mashed and I've made every kind of potato EXCEPT mashed so I had to google the recipe. I was very surprised at how fabulous they turned out!! Here are some pics of the deliciousness...

Mashed Red Potatoes about 8 red potatoes cut up and boiled for about 15 minutes. drain.

add:

½ cup butter

½ cup milk (although I did a little less)

¼ cup sour cream

salt and pepper

then mash it up! (isnt that a song?)

Steak Marinating Just Lea & Perrins with garlic salt and a dash of meat tenderizer.

MMMM.... This steak looks so good you didn't even notice that it was on a Mickey Mouse plate. Nice grill marks too :) and last but not least the b. sprouts All in all it was pretty good, the steak was so tender that I could cut it with the side of my fork. The only thing I would do differently next time is use less Lea & Perrins, I used too much and it was a bit overbearing.
