1 can or bottle of warm beer
2 T sugar
3 C self rising flour
1/2 tsp of garlic powder, or dried herb of your choice (Optional)
Mix just until combined. Do not over blend! Bake in well greased muffin tin for 15 minutes @ 350 degrees, or until lightly golden brown. For beer bread, pour into well greased 5X9" pan @350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
