Snickers Cake

Snickers Cake
1 German Chocolate Cake Mix (prepare according to directions)
1-14 oz bag caramels
1/2 cup milk
1 stick margarine
1 cup nuts
1 cup chocolate chips


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Grease and flour a 9x13" cake pan and place 1/2 cake batter into prepared pan; bake 20 minutes. Meanwhile, remove wrappers from caramel candies and place in heavy saucepan; add milk and margarine; heat until melted, stirring constantly. Pour caramel mixture over cake in pan. Sprinkle nuts and chocolate chips on top of caramel, then top with remaining cake batter. Bake 20 minutes at 275 degrees then turn oven to 350 degrees and bake an addtional 10 minutes. No icing needed!
