Chocolate, Chocolate Cookies

Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups unsifted all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp salt

Preheat oven to 350 F

This recipe makes a lot of cookies. I'd say about 45 depending on scoop sizes.

Using a mixer, cream the butter. Add the sugar and mix well. Add eggs, vanilla and mix well. In a medium size bowl mix together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt until just combined. With your mixer on a low speed, add the flour mixture to your butter and sugar mixture. Once combined, stir in the chips.

Use two baking sheets and cover each with a piece of parchment paper. Use only a small spoonful of an amount to drop onto the baking sheets. These cookies flatten out a lot so they get much bigger than they appear.

Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes, less or more depending on it you like them crispy or chewy.

Get a glass of milk and enjoy!
