8 boneless pork loin or center cut pork chops (1/4 to 1/2 inch thick)
1 can Dr. Pepper
salt, pepper, garlic powder
1 cup (more or less) seasoned dry bread crumbs or shake n bake mix
Season pork chops with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Place in bowl or dish; pour dr. pepper over chops; make sure all chops are covered with the soda. Cover and let marinade 3 to 4 hours in refridgerator. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Coat bottom of large cookie sheet or pan lightly with non-stick cooking spray. Remove each pork chop from marinade and coat in bread crumbs or shake n bake mix and lay on prepared cookie sheet. Bake @ 400 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until done.
**Bone-in pork chops work too; cooking time may have to be adjusted. Great on the grill too; just omit the bread crumbs!
