2 pounds stew meat (cut into chunks--such as shoulder roast)
3 - 4 carrots, peeled and sliced (depending on size of carrot)
1 small-medium size onion, diced
3 med. - lrg. potatoes, peeled and cubed
3 ribs of celery chopped
1 (10.75 oz) can tomato soup
1-4 soup cans of water(more less just enough to cover)
1 tbs. beef boullion granules
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
2 tbs. butter
1/4 c. flour
Add all ingredients to crock pot/slow cooker--except butter and flour. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours; **30 minutes before serving; melt butter in pan,add the flour; stir to make a "paste" Add to stew and stir until blended. Season to taste with addtional salt and/or pepper.
