The Minimalist: Anchovie Pasta

Ingredients:

Anchovies (preferably in a jar)
Tomatoes
Garlic cloves (whole, peeled, and lots of it!)
Chili flakes
Pasta (Spaghetti or whatever is around!)
Cilantro/Parsley (chopped)

Cook pasta al dente and set aside

To make pasta sauce: Saute garlic cloves in anchovies (use anchovie oil as well as olive oil) until soft. Add tomatoes and chili flakes. Add cooking water from pasta if needed. Add sauce on top of pasta.

Sprinkle cilantro/parsley on top before serving.
