Frosty Lemon Chiffon Pie

Yesterday I made my husband Sandra Lee's Frosty Lemon Chiffon Pie.

Lemon pie was something my grandmother always made for my father, a big pie fan. My husband--also a fan--absolutely loves anything tart and anything sweet, so I thought that this was a match made in heaven.

My husband still can't get used to the idea of my making him special desserts. Coming from a big family, he's used to fighting for his food. Well, at least elbowing his siblings a little. But I plan to spoil him a bit. After so many years of sharing, it's time that he had a little of his own!

Sandra Lee's recipe is so easy that I was surprised. I expect lemon pies to require lots of time and effort. But I finished this pie in about 10 minutes, with a minimum of fuss. And a minimum of dishes!

My husband's review of the pie was that it was really sweet, and so you only need a tiny piece. He did say, however, that it was very good.

An easy, homemade, tasty pie that's also easy to make? Wonderful!
