Swedish Wedding Cookies

To reclaim my self-respect after the calzones last night, I decided to make Swedish Wedding Cookies.

I believe that the recipe is from Mr. Food, another one of my favorite cooks. He's easy and simple and accessible to anyone. No strange ingredients or instructions, just food. As a Mr. Food recipe, the cookies were simple and delicious.

Swedish Wedding Cookies are one of my favorites. Sweet and yet neutral, they taste wonderful with coffee and tea. When I was young and single--and a spendthrift--I used to buy small bags of these cookies at the coffee shop on campus. How decadent and sinful I felt, sipping a latte and eating these cookies.

Making them last night was mainly for my enjoyment then. And partially to see if I could make cookies as good as I remembered.

They were quite good. In fact, I couldn't hardly quit eating them. So I bundled part of them up and took them to work, where others could enjoy them. (And keep me from eating all of them!)

I will definitely make these delicious cookies again. So easy and yet so wonderful! And definitely better than paying $2.00 for a small bag of three.

Do you have a recipe for those Swedish Wedding cookies? I can't seem to find any online. Thanks for your help!
