During my divorce a neighbor brought me over 2 pie plates of this cobbler. Let me tell you it made my children and I very happy. Who was that man? We make this as often as we can. I now make this in a 9 x 13 pan and often double the crumble recipe. The recipe came with no amount of apples to cut up so your on your own. And it will warm your soul and heart as it did ours.

I love Amish recipes. I have had this recipe so long I don't even remember where I got it. My mother makes a fritter that is to die for. But this comes second best and I love it just as much. It is light fluffy and you can serve it with powdered sugar or maple syrup. Enjoy. I am sure you can use other fruit.
