hatch green chilis!!

hatch chilis are in!!!!!!! we have started with a 30 lb bag and will see if we can construct a facsimile of the monster burners they have at central market.i mean really-last year we went through 60 pounds before january. i had had all these fantasies involving snow and a fireplace and a big steamin' bowl of green chili in february but no we had to be greedy and gobble them down .if we do get the contraption going we will let you know and you,too, can roast an entire bag. which,btw,are 30 pounds for 10 bucks at sacknsave! tonite the menu is a combination of friends and family connections.

chocolate cheesecake because my evil friend kate introduced me to peanut butter oreos and made me take some home
