Easy Light Clam Chowder
February 26, 2006, 1:23 pm
What I like to use is:
1 can of minced clams with juice
1 envelope creamy vegetable soup mix (Knorrs)
1 large can of clam chowder ready made soup (Progesso or brand of choice) I use low-fat
About a quart of milk (I use low fat)
A can of smoked oysters (this is my choice but not necessary)
cubed potatoes if desired
Cook all in a crockpot on low for an 1 and a half up to 2 hours.
This soup is very creamy and tastes homemade and a lot easier.

My brother gave me this recipe that was popular in Jacksonville during the Bombay Bicycle Club Era. Does anyone remember that restaurant?
